Thanks to the cooperation of the Polish Institute in Beijing and the China Film Archive, Chinese audiences had the opportunity to watch on the big screen selected works by Jerzy Kawalerowicz, one of the most outstanding Polish directors. The review of Kawalerowicz’s films took place between September 16 and 25, 2022. It included the following movies: Mother Joan of the Angels, Night Train, Pharaoh and Shadow. During the review a discussion with experts was organized with the participation of \u00a0Wang Yao from the Beijing Film Academy and Sha Dan from the China Film Archive, which aimed to introduce Kawalerowicz’s work to the audience, including the characteristics of the director\u2019s films style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
