On the eve of the anniversary of the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the Embassies of Poland and Ukraine in Beijing, in cooperation with the Polish Institute, organized a joint event entitled „Together for Peace” on February 23, 2023. This event focused on the message of Peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During this event, an exhibition of paintings by the Chinese artist Huang Rui was presented, who once again expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian nation. The event was accompanied by a concert of Ukrainian music for bandura performed by Mariana Klymukh and a performance by cellist Brenda Li.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official part of the event began with a minute of silence to commemorate the victims of the war in Ukraine, then the Polish Ambassador Wojciech Zaj\u0105czkowski and the Charg\u00e9 d’Affaires of Ukraine Zhanna Leshchynska took the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the guests gathered at the Embassy were representatives of the local diplomatic corps, Chinese artistic circles, media, as well as Polish and Ukrainian communities. As in the previous year, the building of the Polish Embassy in Beijing was illuminated for this occasion with the colors of the Polish and Ukrainian flags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
