However, with limited access to information and expertise, smaller and inexperienced companies might find it difficult to make the best out of the possibilities the market has to offer. For that reason, the Polish Institute in Beijing, in cooperation with the Indie Games Poland Foundation, published the first <em>Chinese Game Market Report<\/em> in 2018. The report became an invaluable and reliable source of information on the Chinese market for numerous Polish companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the continuous changes the Polish and Chinese gamedev industries and gaming markets underwent over the course of the past few years, demanded a significant update of the original document, to give Polish institutions and companies an even better understanding of the recent developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2024 \u201cGame developer\u2019s guide to the Chinese market\u201d is the result of eight years of intensive research and the fruit of cooperation between the Polish Institute in Beijing, Indie Games Poland Foundation and numerous partners from Polish and Chinese gamedev industries.
