Im Grunde genommen k\u00f6nnte man es aufgeben \u2013 gro\u00dfe Teile, darunter die Bibliothek und die heiligen Reliquien, wurden bei einem Brand verw\u00fcstet. Au\u00dferdem ist der Weg dorthin so schlecht, dass man es nur bei g\u00fcnstigem Wetter mit dem Auto auf den Klosterberg schafft.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aber f\u00fcr die \u00c4btissin Julita, die letzte Bewohnerin, ist die Katastrophe nicht das Ende, sondern erst der Anfang: Sie sieht ihre Mission darin, das Kloster wieder aufzubauen. Doch es ist gar nicht so einfach, daf\u00fcr Unterst\u00fctzung zu finden. Die orthodoxen Bulgar*innen aus der Umgebung haben die strukturschwache Gegend verlassen und suchen im Ausland ihr Gl\u00fcck. Daf\u00fcr werden die D\u00f6rfer zunehmend von t\u00fcrkischst\u00e4mmigen Bulgar*innen bev\u00f6lkert \u2013 und statt der Kirchenglocken ruft immer \u00f6fter der Muezzin zum Gebet.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Behutsam, warmherzig, visuell abwechslungsreich und immer mit einem leichten Augenzwinkern erz\u00e4hlen Miglus und Bakalski eine parabelhafte Geschichte \u00fcber den menschlichen Willen, die \u00dcberwindung kultureller Grenzen und \u00fcber Menschen, die zwar weit weg leben, deren Charakterz\u00fcge uns aber keinesfalls fremd sind.<br \/><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Der Regisseur und Kulturmanager <\/span><b>Kornel Miglus<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (geb. 1957) studierte Philosophie, Linguistik und Psychologie in Polen, den USA und in Deutschland. Er erstellte Filmprogramme f\u00fcr Radio Multikulti, hielt Vorlesungen an der Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t und arbeitet seit vielen Jahren als Referent f\u00fcr Film im Polnischen Institut Berlin. Dort rief er das gr\u00f6\u00dfte polnische Festival im Ausland filmPOLSKA ins Leben, das er in diesem Jahr letztmalig leitet. Dar\u00fcber hinaus gr\u00fcndete er die Produktionsfirma Vacant Filmpool und drehte diverse Dokumentar- und Experimentalfilme, darunter die bulgarische Trilogie \u201eBulgarian Stories\u201c (2006, mit Elwira Niewiera), \u201eAbout The Soul And Other Small Things\u201c (2011) und \u201eNot Far Away From Heaven\u201c. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">[Rainer Mende]<br \/><br \/><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentPasted0\"><strong>Nach der Vorf\u00fchrung von \u201eNot Far Away From Heaven\u201c laden wir Sie zu einem Musik- und Visual-Set von Sylwester \u0141uczak in der Bar des Sputnik-Kinos ein.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentPasted0\">Eintritt frei.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentPasted0\">SYLWESTER \u0141UCZAK und ULA MILANOWSKA (ONVIEW) kombinieren verschiedene multimediale Techniken und gestalten R\u00e4ume durch Projektion, Licht und Ton. Ihr Portfolio umfasst Dutzende Projekte \u2013 von kleineren, experimentellen Formen bis hin zu komplexen k\u00fcnstlerischen Originalproduktionen und Auftragsprojekten.
