Dabei erinnert sie sich an die Zeit der deutschen Besatzung im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Als junge Schauspielerin versteckte sie ihren Kollegen Wiktor, der 1939 einen \u201eVolksdeutschen\u201c get\u00f6tet hatte, in ihrer Wohnung. Um ihm das \u00dcberleben zu sichern, spielte sie f\u00fcr die Deutschen in einem Theater. Nach Kriegsende wurde Felicja deshalb als Kollaborateurin verurteilt. Wiktor wandte sich von ihr ab und nahm sich schlie\u00dflich das Leben.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Der Spielfilm von Wojciech Jerzy Has (1925\u20132000) basiert auf der gleichnamigen Erz\u00e4hlung von Kazimierz Brandys (1916\u20132000). Die inneren Monologe aus dem Buch \u00fcbersetzt Has in R\u00fcckblenden. Reflektiert wird eine weibliche Perspektive auf das Leben unter deutscher Besatzung im Zweiten Weltkrieg und die Zeit danach. Zugleich ist der Film eine kritische Auseinandersetzung mit patriotischen Heldenmythen.
