During both events, participants will have the opportunity to\u00a0meet theatre, dance, and performing arts producers. Applications are open for both events; 6\u00a0participants will be\u00a0selected in\u00a0total \u2014 3\u00a0for Tanztriennale and 3\u00a0for Forum Danse. In\u00a0both cases, the study visit lasts 5\u00a0days (including the arrival and departure days, with a\u00a0total of\u00a04\u00a0nights).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Study visit to\u00a0Germany<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Study visit to\u00a0Germany will be\u00a0held on\u00a0<strong>15 \u2013 19\u00a0June 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main event during the study visit to\u00a0Germany will be\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tanztriennale.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tanztriennale<\/a>. The Tanztriennale is\u00a0a\u00a0long-standing, recurring event, endorsing a\u00a0clear vision: to\u00a0make dance visible, strengthen its position, and recognize it\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0practice of\u00a0social significance in\u00a0all its aesthetic, stylistic, and cultural diversity.<\/p>\n<p>The first edition presents dance in\u00a0its full potential \u2014 as\u00a0an\u00a0art form, a\u00a0social force, and a\u00a0stimulus for new ways of\u00a0thinking. Crossing the boundaries of\u00a0cultures, communities, and generations, it\u00a0invites both professionals and the general public to\u00a0watch, participate, reflect, discuss, and dance.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, a\u00a0<strong>Network Meeting by\u00a0produktionsbande &amp; InfoPlus\/Dachverband Tanz Deutschland\u00a0<\/strong>will be\u00a0held\u00a0<strong>on 16\u00a0and 17\u00a0June 2026.<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/produktionsbande.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">produktionsbande \u2013 network performing arts producers<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dachverband-tanz.de\/en\/projects\/initiatives-of-the-dachverband-tanz\/infoplus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">InfoPlus\/Dachverband Tanz Deutschland<\/a>\u00a0invite the study visit participants to\u00a0a\u00a01,5-day-long gathering of\u00a0producers, managers, agents and distributors. The meeting provides a\u00a0space for shared exchange on\u00a0current developments in\u00a0the independent performing arts. Through focused sessions and open discussions, diverse perspectives and positions related to\u00a0ongoing debates in\u00a0the field will be\u00a0explored, alongside potential strategies for addressing current challenges. The gathering is\u00a0intended to\u00a0foster deeper dialogue, strengthen connections, and support collective reflection on\u00a0the evolving landscape of\u00a0independent performing arts at\u00a0regional, national, and international levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Study visit to\u00a0Switzerland<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Study visit to\u00a0Switzerland will be\u00a0held on\u00a0<strong>24 \u2013 28\u00a0November 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main event during the study visit to\u00a0Switzerland will be\u00a0participation in\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reso.ch\/de\/aktivitaeten\/forum-tanz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forum Danse<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Bienne\/Biel (on 27\u00a0November 2027). Forum Danse is\u00a0a\u00a0gathering of\u00a0the Swiss performing arts and dance scene. It\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0professional meeting of\u00a0the Swiss performing arts and dance community, addressed to\u00a0choreographers, dancers, arts educators, presenters, cultural managers, and producers of\u00a0performing arts. It\u00a0aims to\u00a0create an\u00a0opportunity to\u00a0meet and discuss current issues related to\u00a0professional dance and cultural policy.<\/p>\n<p>During the study visit to\u00a0Switzerland, the participants will spend the two days preceding the Forum Danse in\u00a0Zurich. Even though the events focus on\u00a0dance, they bring together a\u00a0community of\u00a0producers working in\u00a0other genres too.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I am\u00a0unavailable for the full 5-day visit. Can I\u00a0still apply?<\/strong><br \/>Full participation is\u00a0preferred, but if\u00a0you have a\u00a0compelling reason, describe your situation; it\u00a0will be\u00a0considered on\u00a0an\u00a0individual basis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I have limited international experience but want to\u00a0develop in\u00a0this area. Can I\u00a0apply?<\/strong><br \/>This program targets more experienced professionals already working internationally.
