In 2026, the Polish city of Gdynia celebrates the 100th anniversary of receiving its city rights. Throughout the year, the Baltic port city marks this milestone with an extensive programme of cultural, artistic and sporting events that reflect both its rich history and its forward-looking spirit.<\/p>\n

Founded in the 1920s around the construction of Poland’s modern seaport, Gdynia quickly became a symbol of innovation, openness and modernity. Today, it remains one of Poland’s most distinctive cities, renowned for its modernist architecture, maritime identity and vibrant cultural life.<\/p>\n
