Her debut jazz EP \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.soundline.biz\/OlaBlachnoHowToBeMe\">How To Be Me<\/a>\u201d functions as a self exploration, for which she used a songwriter influence, paired with a creatve improver\u2019s approach. To further her expertise as both a gifted vocalist and an imaginative composer, she attained Master Degrees in both disciplines in Berlin and Weimar.<\/p>\n<p>Resulting, she now presents her sophomore project \u201e<strong>From Now On<\/strong>\u201c with a new musical program. Her freshly crafted material showcases herself written lyrics, as well as her own musical adaptations of poems by Christina Rossetti and Wis\u0142awa Szymborska in English and in her native language, Polish.<\/p>\n<p>In Arseny Rykov, Niklas Lukassen and Johannes Metzger, she found the ideal bandmates to realize her musical vision. They are all integral parts of the Berlin scene and as leaders in their own bands and sidemen with each their unique expression, they add an array of musical colors and playful interaction, that is rooted in their longstanding experiences together on stage. The group radiates a charismatic and familiar energy that can be traced back to their friendship that began years back at the Jazz- Institut Berlin.
