Konteksty<\/strong> (Postartistic Congress) at Floating University <\/span>in Berlin is an assembly of postartistic<\/em> practitioners \u2013 people, who instead of distinguishing between what art is and is not, explore what can be done with art today \u2013 and a public programme that emerges from the activities offered by the participants, consisting of lectures, screenings, performances, workshops, reading and listening sessions.<\/p>\n

Previous iterations of the Postartistic Congress (Soko\u0142owsko, Gwangju Biennale) have showcased practitioners who don the \u201cinvisibility cloak\u201d \u2013 they do not so much disappear, as make their work recognisable as \u201csomething else\u201d (e.g. climate activism, education, beekeeping, political campaigning, poetry etc.). The postartistic assembly is a way of doing things with art \u2013 however, it\u2019s not about what it is <\/em>but rather how it is (made). <\/em>Hence, the participants of the congress keep art alive by indulging in collective work, self-organizing and self-learning, exchange of knowledge as well as situated and embodied practices.<\/p>\n
