From 8 November until 22 November, the exhibition „Mom, I don’t want war!” will be on display at Station Europe in Place du Luxembourg.<\/p>\n

The exhibition presents the moving testimonies of war, seen through the eye of a child \u2013 spanning historical drawings of Polish children from 1946, a record of their experiences during World War II, and contemporary drawings of Ukrainian children depicting their experiences of the war taking place in Ukraine at the moment. It was prepared by the Central Archives of Modern Records in Poland in cooperation with Ukrainian civil society partners on the basis of the Polish-Ukrainian archival project 1939-45 POLAND\/2022 UKRAINE.<\/p>\n

The present-day drawings of Ukrainian children relating to the ongoing war in Ukraine are collected on the Mom I see war<\/a> portal, which comprises over 10.000 drawings on war and peace executed by Ukrainian children. Ultimately, those drawings will be combined into the world\u2019s largest collage on war in Ukraine.The exhibition aims to raise the spectator\u2019s awareness. War always looks the same through the eyes of a child – no matter where or when, it is a great evil, and the child is always the victim. The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and is currently being displayed worldwide.<\/p>\n
