Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>\n Based on a true story dating back to 1985 when two Polish boys, a teenager and his little brother, escaped from communist Poland all the way to Sweden, hidden under a truck. <\/p>\n The film 300 mil do nieba <\/span>received in 1989 the award of European Film Academy<\/em>.<\/p>\n The screening will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session with Cezary Harasimowicz<\/strong>, moderated by Thibault Deleixhe<\/strong>. Then, we warmly invite you to gather around a small drink.<\/p>\n About Cezary Harasimowicz<\/strong><\/p>\n Screenwriter, actor. After graduating from secondary music school, he studied art history at the Cortauld Institute of Art in London and Polish at the Catholic University of Lublin. In 1980 he graduated from the Acting School at the Polski Theater in Wroc\u0142aw, after which for four years he performed on the stage of this theater. In 1986, he became a graduate of the Higher Professional Screenwriting Study at the National Film, Television and Theater School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a.He is the author of scenarios and dialogues for many films, played the main role in Wies\u0142aw Saniewski’s „Season for pheasant”, recently also proved to be a playwright (his drama „Ten floors” took first place in the competition announced by the Polish Television, and in March 2000 he became published in the monthly „Dialog.” Cezary Harasimowicz is a member of the Polish Screenwriters’ Guild – an association so exclusive that it is almost unknown. He is known for Bandyta<\/a> (1997), 300 Miles to Heaven<\/a> (1989) and Keep Away from the Window<\/a> (2000). He is married to Grazyna Wolszczak<\/a>.<\/p>\n About Thibault Deleixhe<\/strong><\/p>\n Graduate of Slavistics from the Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles in 2009. He has worked as Project Manager and Screenwriter for Tempora \/ Museum of Europe. He supervised the creation of the Permanent Exhibition Route of the World War II Museum in Gdansk and the Interactive Center of the Cathedral Island in Poznan from 2010 to 2013. Since 2013, he is a researcher in History of Central European Literature at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (Inalco) in Paris.<\/p>\n PRACTICAL INFORMATION<\/strong> <\/p>\n
