Using light, shadow, small motors, and her own movement, she will gradually activate elements of the installation, revealing shifting relationships between the works, the architecture, and the surrounding cityscape.
The performance treats the space as a dynamic system rather than a fixed exhibition setting. Light entering the building at sunset, reflections from the panoramic windows, and the movement of the artist and the objects create a sequence of changing situations. Through subtle gestures and mechanical activation, the installations come into motion, transforming the atmosphere of the space and inviting the audience to experience the works as a continuously unfolding environment.
Marta Krześlak is a visual artist working with kinetic installations, site-specific interventions, and collage-based video. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Lyon. In 2023 she received her PhD from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Her practice explores movement, memory, and imagined landscapes, often using found objects and mechanical systems to create spatial installations that shift through time and perception. By setting objects in motion, she creates environments where viewers experience changing relationships between space, material, and atmosphere. Krześlak’s work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions at institutions including Zachęta Project Room, Gdańsk City Gallery, Industra Art in Brno, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, MOCA Hiroshima, and the Museum of Art in Łódź. She has participated in international residencies such as Kooshk Residency in Tehran, MeetFactory in Prague, and the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York. She lives and works between Poland and Brussels.

VERNISSAGE :Vendredi 24 avril à 18hperformance : au coucher du soleil
EXPOSITION :24 - 27 avril 202616h-20hASAR Building9 Avenue Van Kalken, 1070 Anderlecht
plus d'info

"},{"@type":"ImageObject
pl-PL","@id":"https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/en/2026/04/01/exposition-gaze-de-marta-krzeslak-art-brussels-2026/#primaryimage
https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/gaze_Krzeslak_installation_view1-scaled.jpg
https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2026/04/gaze_Krzeslak_installation_view1-scaled.jpg
@type":"BreadcrumbList","@id":"https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/en/2026/04/01/exposition-gaze-de-marta-krzeslak-art-brussels-2026/#breadcrumb
@type":"ListItem
{"@type":"ListItem
Art Brussels : « gaze » by Marta Krześlak"}]},{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/#website
[{"@type":"SearchAction
@type":"EntryPoint
https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/?s={search_term_string}
@type":"PropertyValueSpecification
{"@type":"Person","@id":"https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/#/schema/person/f41db53be78e91d342f7df407326d8f7
missonea
@type":"ImageObject
pl-PL","@id":"https://instytutpolski.pl/brussels/#/schema/person/image/
["GET
