He is one of the most renowned authors belonging to the \u2018bruLion generation\u2019, which takes its name from the literary review which ran from 1987 until 1999 in Poland. He also works as a translator from Slovenian into Polish (he has translated the poetry of authors such as Toma\u017e \u0160alamun and Uro\u0161 Zupan), and English into Polish, notably the work of Jorie Graham. He is the winner of several literary competitions. In 2008, he was nominated for the Gdynia prize for literature, and then put forward in 2014 for the Orfeusz, Silesius and Krystyna i Czes\u0142aw Bednarczykowie poetry prizes for his collection\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bdc0c2;line-height: 19.2px;cursor: pointer\" href=\"http:\/\/culture.pl\/pl\/dzielo\/milosz-biedrzycki-porumb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em style=\"line-height: 19.2px\">Porumb<\/em><\/a>.
