Elles Tournent – Dames Draaien<\/strong><\/a>, the only film festival in Brussels dedicated to movies by and for women, will show a Polish film this year! On Sunday 28 January, a screening is organised of\u00a0<\/span>The Art of Loving<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(Sztuka Kochania) in Cin\u00e9ma Vend\u00f4me, a film by the Polish director\u00a0<\/span>Maria Sadowska.<\/strong>

The film tells the story of Michalina Wis\u0142ocka, a\u00a0gynaecologist who achieved the impossible. With her book „The Art of Love” she revolutionised the sexual life of communist Poland. Before she could publish the book, she had to go a long way fighting conservative stereotypes, pervasive ignorance and censorship.<\/span>
