The 10th edition of\u00a0<\/span>CINEAST<\/strong><\/a>, the central and Eastern European Film Festival, will take place in\u00a0<\/span>Luxembourg<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<\/span>5 until 22 October<\/strong>. Several Polish films will be screened as part of a programme devoted to cinema from what we have become accustomed to calling \u2018Eastern Europe\u2019. Alongside international animated films and short films inspired or commisioned by brands (see the work of\u00a0<\/span>Arkadius JAKUBIK<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Jowita BUDNIK<\/strong>\u00a0for example), there will also be concerts to enjoy, such as the concert by\u00a0<\/span>Semi-Invented Trio<\/strong>\u00a0on 18 October.<\/span>

The cine-concert by the group\u00a0Semi-Invented Trio<\/strong>\u00a0will take place on\u00a018 October<\/strong>. The artists will put a silent film,\u00a0The Undesirable<\/em>\u00a0(A Tolonc), from Hungarian director\u00a0Mih\u00e1ly Kert\u00e9sz\u00a0<\/strong>to music… better known by the name Michael Curtiz, this director was also behind the Hollywood classic\u00a0Casablanca<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>
The\u00a0<\/span>Semi-Invented Trio<\/a>\u00a0was composed by the pianist\u00a0<\/span>Adrian KONARSKI<\/strong>, drummer\u00a0<\/span>S\u0142awomir BERNY<\/strong>\u00a0and violinist\u00a0<\/span>Micha\u0142 CHYTRZY\u0143SKI<\/strong>. Moving between jazz and rhythms from Eastern Europe, bewitching melodies and inspired improvisation, these high-class musicians will mingle sound and image in harmonous fashion.<\/span>
