The\u00a0String quartet<\/strong>\u00a0No.4<\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Krzysztof PENDERECKI<\/strong>, the greatest Polish composer of our times, will be played for the first time in Belgium on\u00a015 December\u00a0<\/strong>2016 in\u00a0Flagey<\/strong>’s\u00a0Studio\u00a04<\/strong>, whose wonderful acoustics will only serve to make this composition, commissioned jointly by London’s Wigmore Hall (with the support of the Hoffmann Foundation), Flagey and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Warsaw. It will be performed by the prestigious London-based quartet\u00a0Belcea Quartet<\/a>\u00a0on the occasion of its 20th anniversary<\/strong>.
The concert will take place in the presence of Krzysztof PENDERECKI.
