The\u00a0Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was inaugurated in April 2013 in the district of Muran\u00f3w, where the Warsaw ghetto had been set up. On 9 April 2016, this magnificent, interactive and dynamic museum was awarded the prestigious prize \u2018Best European Museum 2016\u2019.
The\u00a0LOST SHTETL<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0museum in \u0160eduva will soon be opening its doors. It should be open to the public during the 2017-2018 on the site of a former Jewish cemetery. \u00a0
These two exceptional projects devoted to preserving the memory of the presence of Jews in central and Eastern Europe will be presented by\u00a0Barbara KIRSHENBLATT-GIMBLETT<\/strong>, the head curator of the exhibition at the POLIN Museum, and\u00a0Sergey KANOVICH<\/strong>, representative of the \u0160eduva Jewish Memorial Fund, at an event at the\u00a0Brussels Secular Jewish Community Centre<\/strong>\u00a0on Wednesday\u00a026 October<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a019:00<\/strong>.
