As part of the exhibition\u00a0HomoMigratus<\/em><\/a>, music department of the Cultural Service of the\u00a0Province of Li\u00e8ge<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Museum of Walloon Life<\/strong>\u00a0are playing host to the\u00a0AM\u00d4N QUARTET<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 whose members originate from various European countries \u2013 for a recital paying tribute to the works of two composers, who were amongst the best of their age,\u00a0Mieczys\u0142aw WEINBERG<\/strong>\u00a0(1919-1996) and\u00a0Joseph JONGEN<\/strong>\u00a0(1873-1953). Even if the former, who was born in Warsaw, was for a time considered to be a niche composer, people have been examining his work from a different angle since the 1980\u2019s, and it has integrated the repertoire of renowned artists and the programme of international concert halls. As for his Belgian colleague, there is no doubt that he belongs to the creme de la creme of Belgian composers.\u00a0

This concert is part of the cycle of\u00a08 concerts du dimanche<\/a>\u00a0within the festival\u00a0Les Estivales<\/a>\u00a0whose programme you can consult\u00a0HERE<\/a>.
