This year, the\u00a0<\/span>BALKAN TRAFIK<\/a>\u00a0festival celebrates its 10th anniversary! The festival, which is devoted to cultures and minorities from South-east Europe and aims to bring these people together with local artists, has become an unmissable feature of the Brussels cultural calendar thanks to the quality of its programmes, its originality and its utterly incomparable atmosphere. It offers people the chance to think about what it means to share ideas and embrace multiculturalism, about migration and the historical memory of migrants and migrant societies. \u00a0It is a time for fruitful cultural exchange in a festive, exuberant ambience which combines opportunities to\u00a0<\/span>meet the artists<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>film screenings<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>concerts<\/strong>.<\/span>

It\u2019s in the last category that you can find the set from\u00a0<\/span>MOTION TRIO<\/a>. This group, sometimes dubbed the \u2018trio furioso\u2019, is perhaps one of the best groups of accordionists in the world. It owes its reputation to the tireless dynamism of its members and their musical imagination which takes them a very great distance from folklore. With them, you can expect the unexpected: they make their accordions shiver, squeak, murmur and shriek and they dabble in rock, jazz, techno and metal, revisiting Brahms and Chopin, Lutoslawski and Gorecki along the way. \u00a0Whether you\u2019re a fan of pop or classical music (or both) you\u2019re bound to find something to enjoy!\u00a0<\/span>
