The painter\u00a0Radek SZLAGA<\/strong>\u00a0is unveiling a new series of works which deal with various themes around the book\u00a0Heart of Darkness\u00a0<\/em>by the famous writer\u00a0Joseph CONRAD<\/strong>, who was of Polish origin. Each of the works can be traced back to questions raised by the text, such as the form taken by cultural colonialism, as well as artistic appropriations of passages of the novel or the way they are translated into other forms of popular media.
FINISSAGE on Saturday 11 July 2015 from 14:00 until 18:00<\/strong>.<\/strong>

The artist has been creating his work in both Warsaw and Brussels, where he was in\u00a0residence from 11 April until 5 June<\/strong>.
