The\u00a0SHORT WAVES<\/strong>\u00a0festival offers recent Polish shorts, selected in competition by the\u00a0Ad Arte<\/a>\u00a0foundation, which is located in Pozna\u0144.
This year, 7 films have been selected and they will be presented from 6 until 22 March in more than 50 cities on 6 continents!\u00a0The Brussels edition takes place on Sunday 15 March at 19:00.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0It will be followed by a DJ\/VJ concert by the duo made up of instrumentalist\u00a0Stefan WESO\u0141OWSKI<\/a>\u00a0and VJ\u00a0JAGO<\/a>\u00a0(Jagoda CHALCI\u0143SKA).
At the end of the screening, the audience will be able to vote for its favourite film. The votes, counted up in all of the cities which will be hosting the festival, will see the winning director receive the Short Waves Prize, a crown which last year was passed to\u00a0Tomasz \u015aLIWI\u0143SKI<\/strong>, director of the extremely touching\u00a0Nasza Kl\u0105twa<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(Our Curse) which this year is nominated for an\u00a0Oscar in the short film category<\/a>.\u00a0The film will be screened in the presence of the director.<\/strong><\/span>

There have been many literary works and films about Polish holidays. Marek Skrzecz complements this collection with a video clip about a holiday that happens 52 times in a year: Saturday. Dust is a story of a brilliant tractor driver who is able to dance the transformation of Polish countryside.
