Since\u00a06 December\u00a0<\/strong>2014, the sound artist\u00a0Konrad SMOLE\u0143SKI<\/strong>\u00a0has been showcasing his installation\u00a0Everything Was Forever, Until It Was No More\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>in the rooms of the Contemporary Art Centre Netwerk in Alost as part of the collective exhibition\u00a0ORKEST!<\/em><\/a>

By way of conclusion to this sensory experience, a\u00a0closing event\u00a0<\/strong>is being held, part of the programme of the\u00a0KRAAK Festival<\/a>, this „annual journey through a labyrinth called\u00a0off-stream music<\/em>, avant-garde or other”, in the words of the organisers. The closing event will take the form of a\u00a0joint improvisation event carried out by the Polish noise rock group\u00a0<\/strong>LOTTO<\/a>\u00a0et Konrad Smole\u0144ski<\/strong>,\u00a0and Konrad Smole\u0144ski<\/strong>, an improvisation which will bring to life the latter’s installation.<\/p>\n

LOTTO<\/strong>\u00a0is a Warsaw trio made up of the double bass player Mike Majkowski (one of the members of the group Hailu Mergia), the guitarist Lukasz RYCHLICKI and the percussionist Pawe\u0142 SZPURA. Together, they are pushing the boundaries of improvisation, country and noise rock in insistent and repetitive jams. In 2014, they made their first album,\u00a0Ask the Dust<\/em>, which was put out by Lado ABC.
