Het is gewijd aan film en media in brede zin. Het doel is om opkomend talent in de schijnwerpers te plaatsen zowel op vlak van kortfilms, langspeelfilms, animatiefilms, documentaires, maar ook kunst- en geluidsinstallaties of foto&#8217;s. Speciaal aan dit festival is de unieke locatie voor de filmvertoningen en optredens: het Huis van de Dokwerkers in de haven van Gent.<br style=\"line-height: 19.2px\" \/>Deze achtste editie vindt dit jaar plaats tussen\u00a0<strong style=\"line-height: 19.2px\">11 en 14 februari<\/strong>.<strong style=\"line-height: 19.2px\"><br style=\"line-height: 19.2px\" \/><\/strong>+++\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bdc0c2;line-height: 19.2px;cursor: pointer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.culturepolonaise.eu\/3,4,623,nl,Polen_te_gast_op_het_Festival_Cine_Prive#info\">Praktische informatie<\/a><br style=\"line-height: 19.2px\" \/><br style=\"line-height: 19.2px\" \/><span style=\"line-height: 19.2px;color: #ffffff;background-color: #000000\"><strong style=\"line-height: 19.2px\">Deze editie heeft een speciale band met Polen<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0aangezien Cin\u00e9 Priv\u00e9 aanwezig zal zijn in Gda\u0144sk tijdens de\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bdc0c2;line-height: 19.2px;cursor: pointer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flandersweekgdansk.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vlaamse Week<\/a>\u00a0(14-21 maart 2015), het gevolg van een samenwerking tussen CIRCA en het Festival\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bdc0c2;line-height: 19.2px;cursor: pointer\" href=\"http:\/\/culturepolonaise.eu\/3,4,543,nl,Het_kortfilmfestival_SHORT_WAVES_meert_aan_in_Brussel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SHORT WAVES<\/a>\u00a0van Pozna\u0144, een Pools kortfilmfestival waaraan het Pools Instituut voor de tweede maal zal meewerken in maart 2015. Donderdag\u00a0<strong style=\"line-height: 19.2px\">12 februari<\/strong>\u00a0staat in het teken van een reeks kortfilms gemaakt door regisseurs geboren in de jaren 1980.<br style=\"line-height: 19.2px\" \/>Tijdens de Poolse avond heeft het publiek de gelegenheid om\u00a0<strong style=\"line-height: 19.2px\">Szymon Stemplewski<\/strong>, artistiek directeur van het Festival Short Waves, en\u00a0<strong style=\"line-height: 19.2px\">Przemys\u0142aw Wojciechowski<\/strong>, projectco\u00f6rdinator van het Centrum voor Hedendaagse Kunst\u00a0<a style=\"color: #bdc0c2;line-height: 19.2px;cursor: pointer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.laznia.pl\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u0141a\u017ania<\/a>\u00a0uit de stad Gda\u0144sk, te ontmoeten.
