Jakub KORNHAUSER<\/strong> is one of eight authors invited to present their works at the ninth edition of the TRANSPOESIE<\/a> festival. On 4 October<\/strong>, he will be reading his poems at the Muntpunt <\/strong>libraryin Brussels, accompanied by his poet colleagues Juanjo Olasagarre (Basque country), V\u00f3nbj\u00f8rt Vang (Faeroe Islands), Madara Gruntmane (Latvia), Tom Nisse (Luxembourg), \u0218tefan Manasia (Romania), Stanka Hrastelj (Slovenia) and Kaan Murat Yan\u0131k (Turkey). Each poet will read his\/her text in their original language whilst translations into French and Dutch are projected onto a screen.

Jakub Kornhauser <\/strong>(1984) a Polish poet, essayist and translator. He works at the Jagiellonian University as a literature specialist and founded the Centre of Studies of the Avant-Garde there. He is the author and editor of more than a dozen works and the editor of several periodicals and editorial series. He translates avant-garde literature from French, Romanian and Serbian into Polish. In 2016, he was awarded the Wis\u0142awa Szymborska prize for his collection Dro\u017cd\u017cownia. He has recently published a collection of essays entitled Wolno\u015b\u0107 krzepi (2018) as well as the monograph Awangarda. Strajki, zak\u0142\u00f3cenia, deformacje (2017). He lives in Krakow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
