The fascinating collection of ancient Nubian art from Faras, discovered and saved by Poles on the territory of present-day Sudan, celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. To mark the anniversary, the National Museum in Warsaw, which houses part of the collection from this site, has prepared a series of scientific and educational events that will bring closer its history and the achievements of Polish archaeologists.<\/p>\n

These activities herald the 50th anniversary of the opening of the first Faras Gallery at the National Museum in Warsaw in 2022.<\/p>\n
