Since 2001, the festival has been showcasing hundreds of local and international artists who push the boundaries of conventional sound. It is organized by the volunteer-driven Ultrasound Foundation, this grassroots festival intentionally rejects genre boundaries while juxtaposing the visceral, cerebral, and abstract sound experiments to spark creative exploration and intercultural dialogue.
