Das junge und aufregende Originalklang-Ensemble pr\u00e4sentiert in der K\u00f6lner Philharmonie nun ein durch und durch romantisches Programm. Als Gru\u00df aus ihrer polnischen Heimat f\u00fchren die Musikerinnen und Musiker die zauberhafte Konzertouvert\u00fcre \u00bbEin M\u00e4rchen\u00ab von Stanis\u0142aw Moniuszko im Gep\u00e4ck. Mit dieser vertr\u00e4umten Stimmungsmalerei wird das poetische Programm dieses Sp\u00e4tnachmittags er\u00f6ffnet, das von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdys hin- und mitrei\u00dfender erster Sinfonie beendet wird. Im Zentrum steht das effektvolle zweite Klavierkonzert von Ferdinand Hiller: Solist ist der Pianist Tobias Koch, der sich als kundiger Anwalt vergessener Meisterwerke schon seit geraumer Zeit mit dem entdeckungsw\u00fcrdigen Werk des einst mit K\u00f6ln eng verbundenen Komponisten auseinandersetzt. Nun r\u00fcckt er Hillers virtuosen Geniestreich einmal mehr in das ihm geb\u00fchrende Rampenlicht. (Filharmonie K\u00f6ln)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"left\">Eine Produktion von zamus: ZENTRUM F\u00dcR ALTE MUSIK und K\u00f6lnMusik mit FUGA \/ Gliwice City, Allimprovviso Festival, GAPR, {oh!} gef\u00f6rdert aus Mitteln des Ministeriums f\u00fcr Kultur und nationales Erbe der Republik Polen in Kooperation mit dem Polnischen Institut D\u00fcsseldorf<\/p>\n<p><strong>{oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna was founded in 2012 in the city of Katowice by a group of passionate enthusiasts of early music focused around the concertmaster Martyna Pastuszka.<\/p>\n<p>During the eight years of its activity, the constantly evolving Orchestra, artistically led by its charismatic leader, has gained the reputation of the most excellent early music orchestras in Poland, widely acclaimed by the critics who enthusiastically describe each of {oh!} performances. Currently {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna cooperates with the most important polish institutions and festivals as: National Fryderyk Chopin Institute, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Adam Mickiewicz Institute as well as the festival \u201cMisteria Paschalia\u201d (Cracow), \u201cAll\u2019improvviso Festival\u201d (Gliwice) and \u201cChopin and his Europe\u201d (Warsaw).<\/p>\n<p>The ensemble is appreciated also in the international arena, as reflected in the concerts in the most important halls and at major festivals in Europe, such as: Theater an der Wien, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, Auditorium Opera de Dijon, Konzerthaus Dortmund, K\u00f6lner Philharmonie, Bachfest Leipzig, Haendel Festspiele Halle, Tage Alter Musik Herne.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2015 {oh!} is the ensemble in residence of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, where in the frames of the cycle \u201cEarly Music\u201d gives the concert of the baroque and classical repertoire in the cooperation with the top soloists and conductors.<\/p>\n<p>With the\u00a0 National Fryderyk Chopin Institute (NIFC) {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna develops the historically informed performances of the polish romantic music, performing during the \u201cChopin and his Europe\u201d Festival in Warsaw and the special concerts and recordings sessions organised by NIFC.<\/p>\n<p>Together with the International Festival of Early Music \u201cAll\u2019improvviso\u201d in Gliwice based in the Silesia region {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna constantly focuses on the baroque opera, producing the first performances of the Domenico Sarri\u2019s \u201eDidone Abbandonata\u201d, Johann Adolf Hasse\u2019s \u201eArminio\u201d, Leonardo Vinci\u2019s \u201eGismondo re di Polonia\u201d and G. F. Handel\u2019s \u201cIl Pastor Fido\u201d (in the coproduction with the Handel Festspiele in Halle).<\/p>\n<p>The production of the opera \u201eGismondo re di Polonia\u201d, with the M.E.Cencic in the title role, widely supported by Adam Mickiewicz Institute, was repeated in Theater an der Wien and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow and recorded with release in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>{oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna released five CD albums so far and got two nominations to the Fryderyk award \u2013 most important music award in Poland. One of these nominated CD\u2019s includes: \u201e<em>Concerto <\/em>\u00a0<em>grosso: \u00c9migr\u00e9 to British Isles\u201d &#8211;<\/em> the first {oh!} CD release for the foreign label (MUSO, June 2019), L. Vinci \u2013 Gismondo re di Polonia (Parnassus, 2020), as well as three CDs with Polish music of Stanis\u0142aw Moniuszko (Polish Radio), Jakub Go\u0142\u0105bek (National Fryderyk Chopin Institute) and Wojciech Dankowski (Jasna Gora Monastery, MUSICON).<\/p>\n<p>Opera &#8222;Gismondo, re di Polonia&#8221; with the excellent countertenor Max Emanuel Cencic in the title role was released in 2019 as a 3-CD album with the support of Adam Mickiewicz Institute. The production received an extremely enthusiastic welcome by international critics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JAKOB LEHMANN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jakob Lehmann is a young musician for whom stylistic awareness and historically informed performance are the pillars of emotionally sincere and energetic interpretations. His dual aims of fidelity to the composer\u2019s intentions with their direct conveyance to his modern audiences guide his diverse activities as both as violinist and conductor. Jakob regards the collaborative convergence of\u00a0 historically informed performance styles with more traditional approaches as one his main objectives.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Born in 1991 in Berlin, Jakob was educated at its Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste with Prof. Michael Erxleben. Already prior to and during his studies he gained further valuable insights from musicians such as Andrew Manze, Natalia Prishepenko, Elizabeth Wallfisch, Stephan Mai and Raphael Alpermann. As an avid chamber musician, he pursued concert invitations throughout Europe, as well as China, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>During the last years Jakob has been widely active as concertmaster. Amongst the orchestras he works with are Camerata Salzburg, Le Concert des Nations, Capella Augustina, B&#8217;Rock, Camerata Nordica, the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra, K\u00f6lner Akademie and the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie. From 2015 till 2019 he worked closely with Anima Eterna Brugge as concertmaster, chamber musician and conductor. His debut in 2016 as the first ever guest conductor of this orchestra\u2019s 30 year history was widely acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.<\/p>\n<p>Jakob is Artistic Director and conductor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eroicaberlin.de\/\">Eroica Berlin<\/a>, a chamber orchestra he founded in 2015. The group consists of young musicians from Berlin who aim to find solutions to the problem of aging classical music audiences, and focuses on translating the impulses and inspirations from period performance to modern instruments. Eroica Berlin is proud to call the Ehemaliges Stummfilmkino Delphi its artistic home and is looking forward to their debut at Hamburg&#8217;s Elbphilharmonie in 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TOBIAS KOCH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To probe the mysteries of sound with open-mindedness, versatility and with a sense of joy for discovery is the musical credo of Tobias Koch. Right from the beginnings of his musical career, Koch has been fascinated by the expressive potential of period keyboard instruments; he plays the harpsichord, clavichord, tangent piano, fortepiano, orphica, piano-p\u00e9dalier, organ, and romantic grand piano in unorthodox and spirited performances \u2014 \u201cwith disarming spontaneity,\u201d as a large German weekly put it. Koch chooses the most suitable instrument after extensive musicological research and performance practice studies, always leading to new results. For years, he has been considered one of the leading interpreters in the field of romantic performance practice, and particularly of the work of Robert Schumann. The German Radio MDR Figaro wrote: \u201cInspired and inspiring right from the beginning \u2013 Koch\u2019s playing conjures up images that appear just as quickly as they fade away. Koch\u2019s playing is infectious, every moment is an adventure.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Koch\u2019s comprehensive musical career has taken him to concert venues throughout Europe, North America, the Middle East and other regions of the world. As a soloist, chamber musician and Lied accompanist he performed at music festivals including the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, Verbier Festival, Warsaw Chopin Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, Beethovenfest Bonn, the Schumann Festivals in D\u00fcsseldorf, Bonn, Leipzig, and Zwickau, the Mendelssohn Days at the Gewandhaus Leipzig and many international festivals of Early Music.<\/p>\n<p>Koch gained valuable artistic impulses in master classes at the music conservatories of D\u00fcsseldorf and Graz with David Levine, Roberto Szidon, Walter Kamper; he has received further musical stimuli from artists such as Jos van Immerseel, Malcolm Bilson and Andreas Staier. He is a recipient of the music award of the city of D\u00fcsseldorf, teaches at the Robert Schumann Conservatory in D\u00fcsseldorf, the Berlin University of Arts and the Warsaw Chopin University of Music and is a much sought-after lecturer at master classes throughout the world as well as at the Academies in Verbier and Montepulciano. In addition, he is jury member of renowned piano competitions such as the International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments in Warsaw or the German Chopin Competition.<\/p>\n<p>Koch has worked with musicians such as the pianists Andreas Staier and Janusz Olejniczak, violinists Gottfried von der Goltz, R\u00fcdiger Lotter and Joshua Bell, cellist Steven Isserlis, singers such as Dorothee Mields, Markus Sch\u00e4fer, Jan Kobow and Thomas E. Bauer, the orchestras Concerto K\u00f6ln, Frieder Bernius and Stuttgarter Hofkapelle, V\u00e1clav Luks and the Collegium 1704 Prague, R\u00fcdiger Lotter and Hofkapelle M\u00fcnchen, as well as the choirs of the West German and Bavarian Broadcasting Corporations. He also collaborates closely with instrument makers, restoration specialists, and major instrument museums. He owns an extensive collection of historical keyboard instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous productions for radio and television, publications on the subjects of historically informed performance, musical rhetoric and music aesthetics, as well as the edition of sheet music for the Wiener Urtext Edition and other publishers are part of his extensive musical portfolio and they complement his more than 40 CD productions with works by composers from Mozart to Brahms, many of them receiving international awards and critical acclaim. Handel\u2019s \u201cIl Pastor Fido\u201d (in the coproduction with the Handel Festspiele in Halle).\\nThe production of the opera \u201eGismondo re di Polonia\u201d, with the M.E.Cencic in the title role, widely supported by Adam Mickiewicz Institute, was repeated in Theater an der Wien and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow and recorded with release in 2019.\\n{oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna released five CD albums so far and got two nominations to the Fryderyk award \u2013 most important music award in Poland. One of these nominated CD\u2019s includes: \u201eConcerto \u00a0grosso: \u00c9migr\u00e9 to British Isles\u201d - the first {oh!} CD release for the foreign label (MUSO, June 2019), L. Vinci \u2013 Gismondo re di Polonia (Parnassus, 2020), as well as three CDs with Polish music of Stanis\u0142aw Moniuszko (Polish Radio), Jakub Go\u0142\u0105bek (National Fryderyk Chopin Institute) and Wojciech Dankowski (Jasna Gora Monastery, MUSICON).\\nOpera \\\"Gismondo, re di Polonia\\\" with the excellent countertenor Max Emanuel Cencic in the title role was released in 2019 as a 3-CD album with the support of Adam Mickiewicz Institute. The production received an extremely enthusiastic welcome by international critics.\\nJAKOB LEHMANN\\nJakob Lehmann is a young musician for whom stylistic awareness and historically informed performance are the pillars of emotionally sincere and energetic interpretations. His dual aims of fidelity to the composer\u2019s intentions with their direct conveyance to his modern audiences guide his diverse activities as both as violinist and conductor. Jakob regards the collaborative convergence of\u00a0 historically informed performance styles with more traditional approaches as one his main objectives.\u00a0\u00a0\\nBorn in 1991 in Berlin, Jakob was educated at its Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste with Prof. Michael Erxleben. Already prior to and during his studies he gained further valuable insights from musicians such as Andrew Manze, Natalia Prishepenko, Elizabeth Wallfisch, Stephan Mai and Raphael Alpermann. As an avid chamber musician, he pursued concert invitations throughout Europe, as well as China, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia.\\nDuring the last years Jakob has been widely active as concertmaster. Amongst the orchestras he works with are Camerata Salzburg, Le Concert des Nations, Capella Augustina, B'Rock, Camerata Nordica, the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra, K\u00f6lner Akademie and the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie. From 2015 till 2019 he worked closely with Anima Eterna Brugge as concertmaster, chamber musician and conductor. His debut in 2016 as the first ever guest conductor of this orchestra\u2019s 30 year history was widely acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.\\nJakob is Artistic Director and conductor of Eroica Berlin, a chamber orchestra he founded in 2015. The group consists of young musicians from Berlin who aim to find solutions to the problem of aging classical music audiences, and focuses on translating the impulses and inspirations from period performance to modern instruments. Currently {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna cooperates with the most important polish institutions and festivals as: National Fryderyk Chopin Institute, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Adam Mickiewicz Institute as well as the festival \u201cMisteria Paschalia\u201d (Cracow), \u201cAll\u2019improvviso Festival\u201d (Gliwice) and \u201cChopin and his Europe\u201d (Warsaw).\nThe ensemble is appreciated also in the international arena, as reflected in the concerts in the most important halls and at major festivals in Europe, such as: Theater an der Wien, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, Auditorium Opera de Dijon, Konzerthaus Dortmund, K\u00f6lner Philharmonie, Bachfest Leipzig, Haendel Festspiele Halle, Tage Alter Musik Herne.\nSince 2015 {oh!} is the ensemble in residence of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, where in the frames of the cycle \u201cEarly Music\u201d gives the concert of the baroque and classical repertoire in the cooperation with the top soloists and conductors.\nWith the\u00a0 National Fryderyk Chopin Institute (NIFC) {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna develops the historically informed performances of the polish romantic music, performing during the \u201cChopin and his Europe\u201d Festival in Warsaw and the special concerts and recordings sessions organised by NIFC.\nTogether with the International Festival of Early Music \u201cAll\u2019improvviso\u201d in Gliwice based in the Silesia region {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna constantly focuses on the baroque opera, producing the first performances of the Domenico Sarri\u2019s \u201eDidone Abbandonata\u201d, Johann Adolf Hasse\u2019s \u201eArminio\u201d, Leonardo Vinci\u2019s \u201eGismondo re di Polonia\u201d and G. F. Handel\u2019s \u201cIl Pastor Fido\u201d (in the coproduction with the Handel Festspiele in Halle).\nThe production of the opera \u201eGismondo re di Polonia\u201d, with the M.E.Cencic in the title role, widely supported by Adam Mickiewicz Institute, was repeated in Theater an der Wien and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow and recorded with release in 2019.\n{oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna released five CD albums so far and got two nominations to the Fryderyk award \u2013 most important music award in Poland. One of these nominated CD\u2019s includes: \u201eConcerto \u00a0grosso: \u00c9migr\u00e9 to British Isles\u201d - the first {oh!} CD release for the foreign label (MUSO, June 2019), L. Vinci \u2013 Gismondo re di Polonia (Parnassus, 2020), as well as three CDs with Polish music of Stanis\u0142aw Moniuszko (Polish Radio), Jakub Go\u0142\u0105bek (National Fryderyk Chopin Institute) and Wojciech Dankowski (Jasna Gora Monastery, MUSICON).\nOpera \"Gismondo, re di Polonia\" with the excellent countertenor Max Emanuel Cencic in the title role was released in 2019 as a 3-CD album with the support of Adam Mickiewicz Institute. The production received an extremely enthusiastic welcome by international critics.\nJAKOB LEHMANN\nJakob Lehmann is a young musician for whom stylistic awareness and historically informed performance are the pillars of emotionally sincere and energetic interpretations. His dual aims of fidelity to the composer\u2019s intentions with their direct conveyance to his modern audiences guide his diverse activities as both as violinist and conductor. Jakob regards the collaborative convergence of\u00a0 historically informed performance styles with more traditional approaches as one his main objectives.\u00a0\u00a0\nBorn in 1991 in Berlin, Jakob was educated at its Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste with Prof. Michael Erxleben. Already prior to and during his studies he gained further valuable insights from musicians such as Andrew Manze, Natalia Prishepenko, Elizabeth Wallfisch, Stephan Mai and Raphael Alpermann. As an avid chamber musician, he pursued concert invitations throughout Europe, as well as China, Turkey, Armenia and Georgia.\nDuring the last years Jakob has been widely active as concertmaster. Amongst the orchestras he works with are Camerata Salzburg, Le Concert des Nations, Capella Augustina, B'Rock, Camerata Nordica, the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra, K\u00f6lner Akademie and the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie. From 2015 till 2019 he worked closely with Anima Eterna Brugge as concertmaster, chamber musician and conductor. His debut in 2016 as the first ever guest conductor of this orchestra\u2019s 30 year history was widely acclaimed by audiences and critics alike.\nJakob is Artistic Director and conductor of Eroica Berlin, a chamber orchestra he founded in 2015. The group consists of young musicians from Berlin who aim to find solutions to the problem of aging classical music audiences, and focuses on translating the impulses and inspirations from period performance to modern instruments. Eroica Berlin is proud to call the Ehemaliges Stummfilmkino Delphi its artistic home and is looking forward to their debut at Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie in 2020.\nTOBIAS KOCH\nTo probe the mysteries of sound with open-mindedness, versatility and with a sense of joy for discovery is the musical credo of Tobias Koch. Right from the beginnings of his musical career, Koch has been fascinated by the expressive potential of period keyboard instruments; he plays the harpsichord, clavichord, tangent piano, fortepiano, orphica, piano-p\u00e9dalier, organ, and romantic grand piano in unorthodox and spirited performances \u2014 \u201cwith disarming spontaneity,\u201d as a large German weekly put it. Koch chooses the most suitable instrument after extensive musicological research and performance practice studies, always leading to new results. For years, he has been considered one of the leading interpreters in the field of romantic performance practice, and particularly of the work of Robert Schumann.
