Polen hat am 1. Januar 2022 seinen einj\u00e4hrigen Vorsitz in der Organisation f\u00fcr Sicherheit und Zusammenarbeit in Europa (OSZE) angetreten. Damit \u00fcbernimmt unser Land eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Rolle bei der Gestaltung von Sicherheit und Stabilisierung auf dem europ\u00e4ischen Kontinent im Geiste der Schlussakte von Helsinki, deren 50-j\u00e4hriges Bestehen wir 2025 feiern werden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

„Polen \u00fcbernimmt den OSZE-Vorsitz zu einer Zeit, in der die Teilnehmerstaaten der Organisation mit zahlreichen Herausforderungen f\u00fcr Frieden und Sicherheit konfrontiert sind. Ein echter Dialog zwischen ihnen muss auf v\u00f6lkerrechtlichen Grunds\u00e4tzen und einem starken Engagement f\u00fcr die bestehenden Instrumente und Werkzeuge der OSZE beruhen. Unser Ziel ist es, dass die OSZE so effizient wie m\u00f6glich arbeitet”, sagte der Au\u00dfenminister der Republik Polen, Zbigniew Rau.<\/p>\n

Hauptziel des polnischen Vorsitzes werden Initiativen zur Beilegung regionaler und eingefrorener Konflikte durch die Unterst\u00fctzung der Strukturen der OSZE sein. Polen hat die Absicht, die Rolle eines ehrlichen Maklers und unparteiischen Vermittlers zwischen allen interessierten Parteien zu \u00fcbernehmen.<\/p>\n

Die Organisation arbeitet im Konsens der Teilnehmerstaaten. Unsere Bem\u00fchungen werden sich darauf konzentrieren, das Potential der OSZE voll auszusch\u00f6pfen.<\/p>\n

Polen wird seine Aufgaben im Geiste des ganzheitlichen Sicherheitsansatzes der Organisation wahrnehmen, der die Interdependenz von politischen, milit\u00e4rischen, wirtschaftlichen und Menschenrechtsfragen impliziert.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend unseres Vorsitzes werden wir uns auf die Bem\u00fchungen zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Zivilbev\u00f6lkerung in Konfliktgebieten konzentrieren. In der wirtschaftlichen Dimension werden wir uns auf die Erholung und Modernisierung unserer Volkswirtschaften konzentrieren und versuchen, ihre Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit zu erh\u00f6hen und sie besser an neue Herausforderungen anzupassen. Um einen Aufschwung nach der Pandemie zu erreichen, m\u00fcssen wir unsere Ma\u00dfnahmen koordinieren und sie auf den Weg der nachhaltigen Entwicklung zur\u00fcckf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n

Minister Zbigniew Rau wird auf der Tagung des St\u00e4ndigen Rates der OSZE am 13. Januar 2022 in Wien den polnischen Vorsitz offiziell einf\u00fchren und dessen Priorit\u00e4ten darlegen. Unser Land wird im Rahmen der so genannten OSZE-Troika, d.h. mit dem vorherigen und dem nachfolgenden Vorsitz, n\u00e4mlich Schweden und Nordmazedonien, eng zusammenarbeiten. Der OSZE-Ministerrat wird im Dezember 2022 in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a stattfinden.<\/p>\n

Poland takes over OSCE Chair<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, Poland has started its one-year Chairmanship at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).<\/strong> Thus, our country is assuming a greater role in shaping security and\u00a0stabilisation on the European continent in the spirit of the Helsinki Final Act, whose 50th anniversary we will be celebrating in 2025. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cPoland is taking over the OSCE Chair at a time when the Organization\u2019s participating States have been facing numerous challenges to peace and security. A genuine dialogue between them must be based on international law principles and a strong commitment to existing instruments and tools that OSCE possesses. Our ambition is for the OSCE to operate in the most efficient way possible,\u201d<\/em> said Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Zbigniew Rau.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the Polish chairmanship will be initiatives aiming at settling regional and frozen conflicts through supporting the OSCE\u2019s structures. Poland\u2019s intention is to serve the role of an honest broker and an impartial mediator between all interested parties.
The Organization operates by consensus of participating States. Our efforts will focus on\u00a0making a full use of the OSCE\u2019s potential.<\/p>\n

Poland will carry out its tasks in the spirit of the Organization\u2019s holistic approach
to security, which implies interdependence of political, military, as well as economic and human rights issues.<\/p>\n

During our chairmanship, we will focus on efforts to support civilians
in conflict zones. In the economic dimension, we will concentrate on the recovery and modernisation of our economies, seeking to enhance their resilience and better adjust them to new challenges. To achieve a post-pandemic boost, we need to coordinate our actions and direct them back on track to\u00a0sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Minister Zbigniew Rau will officially inaugurate the Polish chairmanship and outline its priorities at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting in Vienna, on 13 January 2022. Our country will cooperate closely within the framework of the so-called OSCE Troika, that is with the previous and succeeding chairmanships, which are, respectively, Sweden and North Macedonia. The OSCE Ministerial Council will be held in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a in December 2022.<\/p>\n

Polen hat die Absicht, die Rolle eines ehrlichen Maklers und unparteiischen Vermittlers zwischen allen interessierten Parteien zu \u00fcbernehmen.\nDie Organisation arbeitet im Konsens der Teilnehmerstaaten. Unsere Bem\u00fchungen werden sich darauf konzentrieren, das Potential der OSZE voll auszusch\u00f6pfen.\nPolen wird seine Aufgaben im Geiste des ganzheitlichen Sicherheitsansatzes der Organisation wahrnehmen, der die Interdependenz von politischen, milit\u00e4rischen, wirtschaftlichen und Menschenrechtsfragen impliziert.\nW\u00e4hrend unseres Vorsitzes werden wir uns auf die Bem\u00fchungen zur Unterst\u00fctzung der Zivilbev\u00f6lkerung in Konfliktgebieten konzentrieren. Thus, our country is assuming a greater role in shaping security and\u00a0stabilisation on the European continent in the spirit of the Helsinki Final Act, whose 50th anniversary we will be celebrating in 2025. \n\u201cPoland is taking over the OSCE Chair at a time when the Organization\u2019s participating States have been facing numerous challenges to peace and security. A genuine dialogue between them must be based on international law principles and a strong commitment to existing instruments and tools that OSCE possesses. Our ambition is for the OSCE to operate in the most efficient way possible,\u201d said Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Zbigniew Rau.\nThe main objective of the Polish chairmanship will be initiatives aiming at settling regional and frozen conflicts through supporting the OSCE\u2019s structures. Poland\u2019s intention is to serve the role of an honest broker and an impartial mediator between all interested parties. The Organization operates by consensus of participating States. Our efforts will focus on\u00a0making a full use of the OSCE\u2019s potential.\nPoland will carry out its tasks in the spirit of the Organization\u2019s holistic approach to security, which implies interdependence of political, military, as well as economic and human rights issues.\nDuring our chairmanship, we will focus on efforts to support civilians in conflict zones. In the economic dimension, we will concentrate on the recovery and modernisation of our economies, seeking to enhance their resilience and better adjust them to new challenges. To achieve a post-pandemic boost, we need to coordinate our actions and direct them back on track to\u00a0sustainable development.\nMinister Zbigniew Rau will officially inaugurate the Polish chairmanship and outline its priorities at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting in Vienna, on 13 January 2022.
