Theo J\u00f6rgensmann \u2013 clarinet
He numbers among the leading European clarinetists in both contemporary jazz as well as in border areas of jazz and New Music. With others he brought about the renaissance of the clarinet in contemporary improvised music and made both practical and theoretical contributions to the theme of present day music (also in form of the \u201eEthics of Improvisation\u201c, which he wrote with Rolf Dieter Weyer). \u201eIn Germany Theo Joergensmann carries on in the tradition of Dolphy. The musician making a guest appearance in the \u201aAlte Oper\u2018 is one of the German jazz solists of international repute.\u201c (FAZ \/ 1987) \u201eWith him the clarinet is not just defined by the tone-colour, he works beyond pregiven, instrumentally interchangeable compositions \u2013 with passages typical for this instrument: the musical content is all important, form fades into the background; hardly anyone is further. Theo Joergensmann sways as he leaves the stage. People like him cannot live without their music \u2013 and neither can we.\u201c (Frankfurter Rundschau\u201c \/ 1987).

Albrecht Maurer \u2013 violin
The violinist and composer Albrecht Maurer studied violin at the Musikhochschule K\u00f6ln and taught himself the piano, which he then later studied. In addition, he pursued the study of non-European tonal systems and computer music and music science. He gathered his experience with new and experimental music through intensive work with many composers. In his early days he was involved in various classical and jazz ensembles as pianist, synthesizer programmer, violinist, and singer. Albrecht Maurer has performed through Europe as a solist as well as in various groups.
