Reconstruction after the war destruction&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 23 February, on the eve of the second anniversary of the Russian large-scale invasion, the Polish Institute in Kyiv together with the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War. The official page presents the exhibition &#8222;Phoenix Cities. Reconstruction after the war destruction&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ukraine is constantly subjected to barbaric shelling and rocket attacks. Cities like Mariupol were almost completely destroyed during the full-scale Russian invasion. Others, such as Lviv, suffered less damage. But every damaged or destroyed building is a drama of its inhabitants and a drama of Ukrainian culture losing its material heritage. However, despite the constant threat since the outbreak of hostilities, architects, urbanists and monument restorers are discussing the issue of rebuilding Ukrainian cities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The street stand exhibition &#8222;Phoenix Cities. Rebuilding after War Destruction&#8221; presents the experience of rebuilding war-affected cities in Poland (Warsaw, Wroclaw) and other parts of the world (Rotterdam, Tokyo, Coventry, Dubrovnik).
