Konstanty Wile\u0144ski<\/strong>, born Kostyantyn Mykhailovych Vilensky<\/strong> (Ukrainian: \u041a\u043e\u0441\u0442\u044f\u043d\u0442\u0438\u043d \u041c\u0438\u0445\u0430\u0439\u043b\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0447 \u0412\u0456\u043b\u0435\u043d\u0441\u044c\u043a\u0438\u0439, (born 25 December 1949, Kiev, in the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union \u2013 in present-day Ukraine) is a Ukrainian and Polish pianist, composer and jazz musician.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born to a family of Kiev musicians, he is a grandson (by adoption) of Illya Vilensky (1896\u20131975), the first director of the Kiev Philarmonic Hall and founder of three musical theaters. His parents, Mykhailo Vilensky and Yelyzaveta Rostkovska, were choreographers. In 1974 he graduated from theKiev Conservatory, and in 1978 completed his postgraduate studies at the same Conservatorium. Since 1983 he was a lecturer of harmony, orchestration and composition in the same Conservatoire. In 1995\u20132001 he was a musical director of the Stefan \u017beromski Theater in Kielce (Poland). He has 8 disks with own musical works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1995 he resides in Kielce (Poland), and obtained the Polish citizenship in 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His parents, Mykhailo Vilensky and Yelyzaveta Rostkovska, were choreographers. In 1974 he graduated from theKiev Conservatory, and in 1978 completed his postgraduate studies at the same Conservatorium. Since 1983 he was a lecturer of harmony, orchestration and composition in the same Conservatoire. In 1995\u20132001 he was a musical director of the Stefan \u017beromski Theater in Kielce (Poland).
