Traditionally there are a lot of Polish artists at the „Contemporary Art Week”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year prominent Polish new media artists will take part in the „Week”:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryszard W. Kluszczy\u0144ski<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He specializes in electronic media and interactive art. He also taught in many Western European and American universities. He studies and teaches on the themes that are related to art theory, contemporary culture, cinema, multimedia, communication theory and problems of information society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ewa W\u00f3jtowicz<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her activities include new media, media art, digital culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the author of the „Net art” book, many papers and press articles about media art, cinema, and culture. She participated in many conferences on new media art problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Piotr Celinski<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is a theoretician of new media and cyberculture. He is the author of „Interfaces. Digital technology in communication” and „Culture codes of digital technology”. He developed the cyberlublin.pl<\/a> series, curated and co-authored atomy-bity.pl<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Contemporary art week”<\/strong> is one of the major contemporary art projects in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the first festival to feature the contemporary art of Eastern Europe. Prominent Ukrainian artist Vlodko Kaufman is the curator of the „Contemporary art week”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s theme of the „Contemporary Art Week” will be „mentalWars”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
