Concerts of the organist Gedymin Grubba at the International Organ and Chamber Music Festival „Organium” in Sumy and Kharkiv<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gedymin Grubba<\/strong> is an organist, composer, conductor, and organizer of cultural and artistic events. He graduated from the Moniuszko Music Academy in Gdansk in 2006 (organ – class of Prof. Roman Perucki, composition – class of Prof. E. Glowski). Since 2003 he has been the president of the Gabriel Faur\u00e9 Art Promotion Foundation in Gdansk, which organizes about 50 concerts a year in Poland. Since 1999 he has been the founder and director of the International Organ Music Festival in Pelplin Cathedral, which is among the most important artistic projects in Poland today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participant of numerous master classes, he plays concerts in Poland and abroad. During his career, since 1996 he played almost 1,000 concerts as an organist, chamber performer and conductor. Member of award panels of organ competitions and the main demonstrator of the organ in the Oliwa Cathedral. Laureate of organist and pianist competitions. Member of the Youth Section of the Polish Composers’ Union. He has recordings on CD, radio and TV (in particular as a conductor). In 2009 he was awarded a prestigious MESTWIN statuette for his cultural activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
