Line up:
Piotr Jordan, virtuoso Polish violinist, was born and grew up behind the
Iron Curtain in Poland. He has been fascinated by sound and music from very
early on and soon started learning to play violin. Educated first in the
classical music tradition his musical interests soon expanded; since then,
Piotr has enjoyed a varied freelance career exploring Celtic, Balkan, Gypsy
jazz and other traditions of Fiddle music. Piotr believes in bringing
diverse music to audiences in informal settings and always enjoys playing
dance music for its original purpose - dancing! Piotr’s latest venture
was being part of a highly successful Midsummer Night’s Dream production
at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
Zac Gvi (Zachary Gvirtzman) is a composer, producer and
multi-instrumentalist from London with a background in Jazz, Folk and
Contemporary Classical music.
Charlie Wheatley is a London-based multi-instrumentalist and composer.
Growing up immersed in traditional music, he has become a well-established
figure on the London folk scene.
Jakub Cywiński is a polish double bass player and composer who currently
explores his interest in collaborating with various contemporary composers
and jazz musicians such as Ola Onabule, Janette Mason, Andy Sheppard,
Julian Nicholas, Partikel, Duncan Eagles Quartet, Przemyslaw Strączek
Quartet and Piotr Damasiewicz. He studied double bass as a postgraduate at
the Royal College of Music.
