Iza is searching for her son whom she relinquished to adoption. He too yearns for reunification. Iza meets eight Polish immigrants in a community centre in Stratford-upon-Avon. Together, they help her journey by sharing their stories of courage, resilience and hope. The story follows them across Europe and Asia as they piece back their lost families. A single rouble note flutters across a railway line change a life forever. Dreams and ghostly encounters in Uganda bring the taste of freedom. Hope is born through resisting the Soviet tanks that rolled into Lvov while seeing the future in a wall of mirrors. Magical meetings in ancient forests bring life-long joy. A Warsaw underground fighter becomes a teacher to a US President. They discover it is the power of story that offers reconciliation, forgiveness and love. Will the son and his mother find each other?<\/p>\n\n\n
