Join STUFISH as they share their inspiring story behind the late legendary entertainment architect, Mark Fisher and the studio\u2019s various iconic designs including U2, Queen, Beyonce, Rolling Stones, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and many more. Learn how Mark\u2019s initial collaborations with Pink Floyd and experimentations with inflatable structures launched STUFISH into the rock music world that shaped entertainment architecture. STUFISH continues leading the entertainment industry with portable projects, live productions, touring shows, exhibitions, master planning, and the recent award-winning ABBA Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Fisher OBE, MVO, RDI, (1947-2013) founded his first design company, Air Structures Design while experimenting with inflatable structures as a student at the Architectural Association. In 1976, he was commissioned to build a set of inflatable sculptures for Pink Floyd\u2019s \u2018Animals\u2019 tour and then subsequently asked to design the Pink Floyd arena show \u2018The Wall\u2019 in collaboration with engineer Jonathan Park. Over the next decade, Fisher and Park partnered to produce some of the most significant rock concert tours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1994, Mark Fisher established The Mark Fisher Studio, later known as STUFISH Entertainment Architects. STUFISH\u2019s portable architecture projects encompass twelve of the most complex stadium rock shows ever toured. Their early work includes designs for every Rolling Stones concert since 1989 and every U2 show since 1992. More recent projects include Elton John\u2019s \u2018Farewell Yellow Brick Road\u2019, Lady Gaga\u2019s \u2018Born This Way Ball\u2019, Madonna\u2019s \u2018The Celebration Tour\u2019, Adele\u2019s \u2018Weekends with Adele\u2019, Beyonce\u2019s \u2018Renaissance\u2019, and \u2018Rhapsody\u2019 with Queen and Adam Lambert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the music industry, STUFISH have designed one off events for The Coronation Concert and Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace, the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics, and the Fashion Awards for the British Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
