She has performed extensively across Europe, North America and Japan, appearing both as a soloist and alongside major orchestras, including the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her debut solo album&nbsp;<strong>Variations<\/strong>, released by Rubicon Classics, has been highly praised by critics for its nuanced artistry and imaginative programming. Educated in Paris as well as at the Royal College of Music in London, she has built an international artistic profile, appearing at prestigious venues including the Sorbonne and St Martin-in-the-Fields in London, as well as performing at the renowned Chopin Festival in Japan.\nHer interdisciplinary and multimedia performance projects have been presented at major cultural institutions, among them the Victoria &amp; Albert Museum, and her original film music has been recognised worldwide, receiving awards at international festivals including Cannes. Magdalena\u2019s recordings\u2014most notably Couleur du Temps and Une belle histoire\u2014have met with enthusiastic critical reception and international acclaim. She continues to develop her unique piano-vocal theatre, combining composition, voice, improvisation and cross-disciplinary collaborations across Europe and beyond.\nJoanna Kacperek\nThe pianist Joanna Kacperek is celebrated for the expressive depth of her interpretation, refined tone and exceptional musicality. She has performed extensively across Europe, North America and Japan, appearing both as a soloist and alongside major orchestras, including the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.\nHer debut solo album Variations, released by Rubicon Classics, has been highly praised by critics for its nuanced artistry and imaginative programming. Joanna is a laureate of numerous international piano competitions and scholarships, and continues to perform widely as a soloist and chamber musician.\nHer ongoing collaboration with soprano Clara Barbier Serrano has brought her success at several major international competitions, including prize-winning appearances at Wigmore Hall, Stuttgart and Lyon. Joanna completed her musical training in Warsaw and subsequently at the Royal College of Music in London, developing an artistic profile that combines tradition with contemporary performance aesthetics.\nTHE STRING QUINTET\nAlicja \u015amietana \u2013 violin \/ viola\nAlicja \u015amietana is an internationally acclaimed violinist, violist, arranger and composer. Educated in Krak\u00f3w, in London, and at the prestigious Kronberg Academy, she has performed with leading musicians including Gidon Kremer, Martha Argerich, Nigel Kennedy and Sir Simon Rattle, appearing in major venues such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Royal Albert Hall.\nHer artistic activity encompasses classical repertoire, jazz, contemporary performance and improvisation. She is also co-artistic director of Nigel Kennedy\u2019s Orchestra of Life and records for the Solo Musica label.\nJaga Klimaszewska \u2013 violin\nBorn in Gda\u0144sk, Jaga Klimaszewska studied at the Guildhall School of Music and at the Royal College of Music in London. She has appeared as a soloist with Cappella Gedanensis, Camerata Baltica and the Silk Street Sinfonia.\nActively involved in promoting female composers and performers, she co-founded the Women in Music Festival, and her acclaimed debut album is dedicated to works by Gra\u017cyna Bacewicz. She currently serves as concertmaster of the Fidelio Orchestra and performs regularly with BBC Concert Orchestra, Chromatica and Britten Sinfonia.\nAleksandra Pykacz \u2013 cello\nAleksandra Pykacz, Polish cellist and graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, is a prizewinner in numerous international competitions. She performs at major festivals throughout Europe and beyond, and has collaborated with composers on new repertoire, including the premiere of Hooshyar Khayam\u2019s Cello Concerto.\nHer musical interests range widely, embracing classical repertoire as well as jazz, pop and world music, which she integrates into an expansive and versatile artistic profile.\nKasia Zimi\u0144ska \u2013 violin \/ viola\nKasia Zimi\u0144ska is a London-based violinist and violist who studied at the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal College of Music. She performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician, and her musical activities include violin concertos, viola recitals and extensive ensemble work.\nHer performances have been broadcast by BBC Radio and classicalplanet.com, and she collaborates with a wide range of prominent ensembles including the Salom\u00e9 Quartet, Ensemble Kopernikus and leading contemporary music groups.
