However the most important part of this story is the story of fulfilling one&#8217;s dreams. Remi Rachuba, who both wrote and stars in the play, worked on the text since 2009. The play has two two language versions, the original one (in English) and also in Polish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supported by Arts Council England and Creative Scotland, the play was shortlisted for the&nbsp;Adrian Pagan Playwriting Award&nbsp;at London\u2019s King\u2019s Head Theatre in 2013 and got to the final shortlist&nbsp;in the BBC Writersroom Drama in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Intruder\u2019 had its premiere on 4 August 2022 at the Edinburgh Festival. His first professional job was performing in a dreamthinkspeak\u2019s site-specific production titled \u2018Before I Sleep\u2019 presented at 2010 Brighton Theatre Festival, awarded &nbsp;with Peter Brook Best Ensemble Award and subsequently presented at the Holland Festival in 2011. He has also performed in dreamthinkspeak\u2019s \u2018The Rest is Silence\u2019, \u2018In the Beginning was the End\u2019 and 'Absent&#8217;. Remi was a Scottish servant in a Katie Mitchell&#8217;s&nbsp;production of 'Lucia di Lammermoor&#8217;&nbsp;at the Royal Opera House in 2016 and is coming back to the 2nd revival of the opera in May 2020. Additionally since graduating he has participated in a production at the Traverse Theatre titled \u2018The Builders\u2019 with Plutot La Vie, toured with a T.I.E production of 'Pinocchio&#8217;,&nbsp;and taken part in various workshops with e.g.&nbsp;Ian Rickson, Jeremy Stockwell, Theatre O, Frantic Assembly. He also participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus at the Berlin International Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marcus Montgomery Roche (director) &#8211; <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/marcusroche.strikingly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>http:\/\/marcusroche.strikingly.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marcus Roche is currently assistant director to Declan Donnellan at Cheek by Jowl and is touring with their new production of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheekbyjowl.com\/periclesprincedetyr.php\">Pericles\u00a0<\/a>by William Shakespeare. In 2015 he toured with their production of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheekbyjowl.com\/calendar.php\">The Winter&#8217;s Tale<\/a>. He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and \u00c9cole Philippe Gaulier in Paris. In 2012 he directed The Agony and Ecstasy of Steve Jobs by Mike Daisey which received critical acclaim was nominated for a CATS award and the Amnesty International Freedom of Speech Award. For Taganrog Opera and Drama Theatre (Russia) he directed a contemporary movement version of Romeo and Juliet. In 2014 he created\u00a0<em>Vote For Me<\/em>\u00a0which was part of the Early Days Festival at the Arches. He has directed\u00a0<em>The Night before the Trial\u00a0<\/em>a couple of Chekhov&#8217;s short stories as a curtain raiser\u00a0to the Tron Theatre\u2019s production of Three Sisters. He has directed for the Tron Theatre, the Arches, Play, Pie and a Pint, Wee Theatres, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Theatre 503. His productions of Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth toured Scotland in 2011. For Taganrog Opera and Drama Theatre (Russia) he directed a contemporary movement version of Romeo and Juliet. In 2014 he created\u00a0Vote For Me\u00a0which was part of the Early Days Festival at the Arches. He has directed\u00a0The Night before the Trial\u00a0a couple of Chekhov's short stories as a curtain raiser\u00a0to the Tron Theatre\u2019s production of Three Sisters. He has directed for the Tron Theatre, the Arches, Play, Pie and a Pint, Wee Theatres, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Theatre 503. His productions of Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth toured Scotland in 2011.
