He studied literature and philosophy at the University of London, the University of Sussex and Oxford University. Author of autobiography \u2018Fragmenty niespokojnego dzieci\u0144stwa\u2019, essays \u2018Wyspy szcze\u015bliwe\u2019, notebooks \u2018Wielopolis, Wielopolis\u2019, \u2018Narracje Ormia\u0144skie\u2019, translation of Kochanowski\u2019s \u2018Laments\u2019 and the poetry of Tadeusz R\u00f3\u017cewicz. He received the medal of the Norwid Foundation \u201cFor services in disseminating the work of Cyprian Norwid\u201d, Gloria Artis Medal: from the HE Ambassador Piotr Wilczek laudation and the Rockefeller Foundation Scholarship. \u2018Adam published several collections of poetry deserving the highest literary recognition \u2013 they alone placey in the history of Polish literature. This outstanding author devoted a significant part of his artistic career to the promotion of Polish literature in English-speaking countries. Unlike some contemporary poets who depend on influential critics and award committees, Czerniawski chose independence.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Jerzy Sikora<\/b>\u00a0is a poet, literary critic and professor at the Department of 20th-Century Literature at the Cardinal Wyszynski University in Warsaw, also a clergyman. In 2014 he received a post-doctoral degree in literature from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144. His interests and research activities concern the relationship between literature and preaching, as well as contemporary Polish migrant literature. Sikora is a member of the Polish Writers\u2019 Association and author of nine poetry books (among others, \u2018Zrywanie dekoracji\u2019 (1993); \u2018Jestem z\u0142odziejem \u015bwiat\u0142a\u2019, (1995); \u2018Chi\u0144ska porcelana. Wiersze wybrane\u2019, (2016); \u2018Dzeszczowe lato\u2019 (2017) and one novel &#8211; \u2018P\u0119kni\u0119te lustro\u2019. Moreover, he writes small prose and scientific monograph, such as, \u2018Londy\u0144ska grupa literacka \u201cMerkuriusza\u201d i \u201cKontynent\u00f3w\u201d\u2019 (2000), \u2018Od s\u0142owa do s\u0142owa. Literacko\u015b\u0107 wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnych kaza\u0144\u2019 (2008), \u2018Tw\u00f3rczo\u015b\u0107 kaznodziejska ks. J\u00f3zefa Tischnera. Studium literacko-homiletyczne\u2019 (2012). His interests and research activities concern the relationship between literature and preaching, as well as contemporary Polish migrant literature.
