15th January – 6th February 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Polish Book Institute,<\/a> the Polish Cultural Institute London <\/a>and the Polish Cultural Institute New York <\/a> are now accepting nominations for this year\u2019s edition of the Found in Translation Award, honouring the best translation of Polish literature into English in 2023. The deadline for nominations is the\u00a06th of\u00a0February, 202<\/strong>4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Found in Translation Award includes a one-month residency in Krak\u00f3w, an honorarium of 2,000 zlotys, travel to and from Krak\u00f3w funded by the Polish Book Institute, and a cash prize of 16,000 zlotys funded in equal parts by the Polish Book Institute, the PCI London and the PCI New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Translations published in book form in 2023 qualify for nomination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individuals or organizations in Poland and abroad may nominate candidates to the Book Institute (by writing to biuro@instytutksiazki.pl)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nomination should include a justification for choosing the candidate, the candidate\u2019s address, and the address of the nominator. An electronic version of the book translated by the candidate may also be submitted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
