This can be suitable for architects and creatives that want quick professional feedback on organizing their pieces, their content, presentation formats, ideas to improve, or guidance to develop ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Each participant will have the opportunity to receive 2 reviews from different reviewers. The workshop consists of presentations, portfolio reviews, and a networking session. An email will be sent with a full itinerary prior to the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Take this opportunity to ask questions about entering a new creative market, learn about a different industry, ask about other design methodologies, or understand your own creative similarities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Artificial Kreativity believe creativity is not bound to one profession rather an ecosystem where collaborative thinking can foster new ideas. With his studio, he is supporting the creative community with the Cross Pollinator Project. It aims to make architecture accessible to everyone and expose students to the profession through a multi-disciplinary approach. For over 10 years, he has reviewed portfolios for architecture candidates applying to Cornell University\u2019s architecture school in New York. Prior to launching his studio, he worked with Zaha Hadid Architects. His career spans over 18 years of designing iconic buildings at multiple scales ranging from cultural buildings, FIFA stadiums, masterplans, commercial retail, and private residential designs. Key projects comprise Pierres Vives, Chartres Parc des Expo, Symbiotic Villa, and Diyar Town Center Masterplan. Design interests stem from music, art, landscape, fashion, creativity, and technology. He is a native of Los Angeles, received his BArch from Cornell University, MArch from the Architectural Association, and sits on the board of trustees with London Play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Maria Loreto Flores <\/strong>@zahahadidarchitects<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Associate Director at Zaha Hadid Architects, UK.<\/em><br>Chilean-born architect, Maria Loreto, manages multi-disciplinary teams that specialize in complex geometries and construction for projects in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. She focuses on large scale projects comprising masterplans, towers, expos, and convention centres. Built work includes the luxury Morpheus Hotel in Macau, China; Pierres Vives, France; and d\u2019Leedon Residential Complex, Singapore. She is part of the steering committee of Women in Architecture UK and previously taught workshops and design studios at the Universidad de Chile. She has been a visiting critic in architecture schools in both Chile and the UK including the Architectural Association and Bartlett at UCL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Graham Modlen<\/strong> @graham_modlen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Founder Architect Graham Modlen, UK<\/em><br>Graham has over 30 years experience working with acclaimed offices as a project architect and designer. This includes director of Zaha Hadid Architects where he was involved in her early career from the 90\u2019s and an associate at Austin-Smith: Lord in London. Key projects include the Sheikh Zayed Bridge and Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi. As an architect and artist with his own practice Graham continues to explore design through a sketching process. Collaborations include urban scale projects with local architects in Alicante, Spain and residential development projects in South London with Atelier SET. He is on the board of trustees with Daw\u2019an Architecture Foundation, whose charity work is restoring the mud brick architecture of Yemen. Currently he is the first year design tutor in the architecture school at the University of Greenwich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Hannes Hulstaert<\/strong> @postcarbonlab<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Co-Founder of Post Carbon Lab, UK.<\/em><br>Hannes Hulstaert is the co-founder and CTO of Post Carbon Lab, a biotech and textile company offering sustainable microbial colours and finishes for industrial applications. They transform CO2 into colours, dyes\/pigments and coatings with microbes for the textile and polymer industry. They employ bio-based colour and chemical alternatives to carbon-intensive petrochemical ones to support the net-zero transition. They\u2019ve had the opportunity to collaborate with major brands like Adidas, MCQ (Alexander McQueen), and DS Automobiles, as well as many independent designers, to pilot their groundbreaking technologies. Their work has been recognised with several awards, including the TATA Varsity Pitch, Renaissance Award, and Creative Enterprise Award. Originally trained as an architect, Hannes\u2019 career has spanned various creative and scientific disciplines, including audiovisual communication, colour research &amp; analysis, design and fabrication. Hannes has been published in STUDIO Architecture and Urbanism magazine for his writings on unconventional approaches to the social and cultural analysis of urban architecture. In 2015, he was awarded the Henry van de Velde Prize and has previously taught workshops at the Department of Architecture at the University of Antwerp. Hannes is currently part of the Design Council Expert Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Chris Wight<\/strong> @chris_wight_ceramics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Ceramic Artist, UK.<\/em><br>For over 25 years, Chris has devoted his career to working with bone china and seeking new modes of expression with this highly traditional material. As a student, he trained with designers and modelers from Wedgwood and Royal Doulton. With vessel forms, sculpture, panels, and screens, his pieces span gallery, interior, and architectural scales. These often combine new technologies with hand made production methods. His latest work focuses on the unique sound properties of bone china as he develops a large ceramic Soundscape with Grammy Award winning percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie. Chris\u2019s work has been shown at Sotheby\u2019s, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Saatchi Gallery, Bernardaud, Garth Clark as well as numerous exhibitions in Japan and Korea. In June this year his \u2018Portland Arcana\u2019 installation will feature at the Crocker Museum of Art in California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Marta Kowalewska<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/centralnemuzeumwlokiennictwa\/\">@centralnemuzeumwlokiennictwa<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/marta.kowalewska.165\/\">@marta.kowalewska.165<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Chief curator at the Central Museum of Textiles in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (CMW\u0141), Poland<\/em><br>With over 25 years of experience, Marta Kowalewska is an art historian and critic, curator of exhibitions and author of texts on art. She looks at textiles as a medium rather than a discipline and believes it is a language\u2014carrier of information and a material full of meaning in the hands of visual artists, artisans, craftsmen, architects and fashion designers. She has curated numerous international exhibitions of renowned artists including Metamorphism. Magdalena Abakanowicz (2017-18), Rebellion of the matter (2017), 100 Flags for the Centenary of Polish Women\u2019s Suffrage (with the 100 FLAG collective, 2019), Antoni Starczewski: The Idea of Linear Notation (with Grzegorz Musia\u0142, 2022), Threads of a New Spirituality (with Elisabetta Mero, 2022), We Are Textile Culture Net! (Hong Kong 2022), and the 16th and 17th International Triennial of Tapestry (2019, 2022). She has published more than seventy articles, critical texts and interviews including co-authoring the book From Tapestry to Fiber Art: The Lausanne Biennials 1962\u20131995. She also edited the book Magdalena Abakanowicz. Metamorphism. She has been on the juries of international textile art competitions and is a board member of the European Textile Network, as well as the chairwoman of the Marta Magdalena Abakanowicz- Kosmowska and Jan Kosmowski Foundation Advisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Anna Borup<\/strong> @TBWAMAL @Anna.Borup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>Senior Art Director at TBWA\\Media Arts Lab London, UK.<\/em><br>With a background in graphic design, Anna creates advertising campaigns for Apple, the exclusive client of TBWA\\Media Arts Lab London. This includes creating ads in various formats for print, TV, and digital media, including the launch campaign for iPhone 14: Big and Bigger. Independently as an illustrator, she creates her own artwork and freelances for commissions. She is known for working in a colourful range of bold colours that are produced as gicl\u00e9e prints or screen printed on T-shirts depicting abstract compositions of animals, nature, or figurines. Her pieces are available online through her website or can be found at various independent shops, including Wildcard Brewery. She is a regular exhibitor at the London Illustration Fair, and has produced a number of illustrations for the restaurant Kanada-Ya.
