He was also a member of the Polish\u00a0PEN Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In 2001, he won the\u00a0Paszport Polityki Award\u00a0for his book\u00a0<em>Mercedes-Benz.
