The documentary Maharaja’s Children- A Brave Bunch in India <\/em>won the Top 1st Documentary Feature Film award in the Documentary Feature category at the 5th Aryan International Children’s Film Festival in Jaipur.
The interactive documentary directed by Tomasz Stankiewicz, is a story of little Wiesio, one of a thousand Polish children saved by Indian maharaja Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji during the Second World War.
With support from the Polish Institute New Delhi, this film’s producer, co-screenwriter, and chairman of the Nil Desperandum Foundation Monika Kowaleczko-Szumowska was able to screen it and promote the film at the festival.
Maharaja’s Children-<\/em> A Brave Bunch in India <\/em>was presented at the festival on 25th August 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The documentary was previously screened at the 8th Siffcy Smile International Film Festival New Delhi and was available online from 24-30 April 2022 on festival website: https:\/\/siffcy.org\/siffcy-2022-online<\/a>\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
