„Family Picnic\u201d celebrating the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union was hosted on 29th of March 2025.\u00a0Over 300 guests participated\u00a0in this informal, family-friendly gathering at the Residence of the Ambassador of Poland in New Delhi. The guests were welcomed by Dr. Piotr Antoni \u015awitalski, Charg\u00e9 d’affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland in India, and Ms Ewa Suwara, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to India.\u00a0They enjoyed live jazz by Shantha & Amar and families could participate in puppet-making workshops by the Ishara Puppet Theatre Trust. There were also painting activities for children and, a ping pong tournament. The Polish Institute team awarded gifts to the young participants. The guests could try Polish food treats.
This event started Europe Weeks in India leading up to Europe Day on the 9th of May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
