On their recent visit to Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Ms. Ma\u0142gorzata Wejsis-Go\u0142\u0119biak (Director) and Ms. Magdalena Filipczuk (Deputy Director) of the Polish Institute, New Delhi, engaged in fruitful discussions with key faculty members, including Prof. Gayathri Prabhu, Director, Manipal Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts, Dr. Anup Naha, Director, Office of International Affairs and Collaboration (MAHE), Mr. Rahul Putty, Head, Department of Languages, Manipal Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts (MISHA) and Dr. Prithvirajesh Kumar, Coordinator, Centre for Kannada and Regional Languages (CKRL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant outcome of the meeting was the possibility of enhancing the ongoing cooperation both academic and cultural. Both institutions expressed interest in cultural collaboration, including literature, films and organizing cultural festivals. Additionally, possibility to support the relaunch of the Polish Science Day initiative, last held at Manipal in 2021, with plans for a unique adaptation of Polish literary works into Karnataka’s Yakshagana folk theater for the event in 2026 have been discussed. This partnership promises to enrich cultural exchange and academic collaboration between Poland and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
