Originating from the Beskidy Mountains of Poland, the ensemble was formed through a remarkable meeting between traditional folk musicians and contemporary artists from Silesia.\u00a0The result is a bold and distinctive musical expression that defies genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blending haunting melodies with vibrant energy, VO\u0141OSI draws inspiration from rock, punk, jazz, film music, and ambient soundscapes. Performed entirely on string instruments, their music is both powerful and deeply evocative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February 2026, VO\u0141OSI brought their powerful soundscape to India for a remarkable series of performances presented by the Polish Institute New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The journey began on 4 February at the Abhimanch Auditorium of the National School of Drama, in collaboration with the prestigious theatre institution. This performance was part of the International Theatre Bharat Rang Mahotsav festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
