Haas, adapted from Boles\u0142aw Prus\u2019 iconic novel, presents a powerful portrait of romantic longing, social change, and the frustrations of an ambitious man confronting the limitations and backwardness of his society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The screenings were introduced to audiences by Murtaza Ali Khan, Public Diplomacy and Cultural Expert, Polish Institute New Delhi, who contextualized the films within Poland\u2019s rich literary and cinematic traditions and reflected on the enduring relevance of these classics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A panel discussion featuring Khan exploring the intersection of film and poetry also put spotight on the legacy of master Polish filmmakers like Andrzej Wajda, Wojciech Has, and Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival was further enriched by the presence of Lokmanya Golchha, Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Poland for Nepal, who was felicitated in recognition of his contribution to strengthening cultural ties and fostering
