They were followed by addresses from Dr Piotr Antoni \u015awitalski, Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi, and Ma\u0142gorzata Wejsis-Go\u0142\u0119biak, Director of the Polish Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the centre of <em>I SEE YOU<\/em> are black-and-white portraits of directors, actors, crew members and local collaborators encountered during \u017burawski\u2019s film productions. Taken across Europe and Asia, the photographs draw attention to the people who usually remain behind the scenes \u2014 the many individuals whose work and relationships are an essential part of filmmaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The title <em>I SEE YOU<\/em> captures the idea at the heart of the exhibition: seeing someone is more than simply looking. It is an act of recognition \u2014 of acknowledging another person\u2019s presence, individuality and story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Prof. Sabeena Gadihoke, Director, AJK MCRC, felicitated Mr. \u017burawski and Ms. Malgorzata Wejsis-Go\u0142\u0119biak, Director, Polish Institute in New Delhi on the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day brought together the students and the practitioner for an engaging masterclass exploring visual storytelling and the craft of cinematography. A graduate of the Polish National Film School in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (2000), he is a member of the Polish Society of Cinematographers (PSC) and the Polish Filmmakers Association. His career spans features, television, documentaries, and international co-productions across Europe and Asia. Beginning in photography as a teen, \u017burawski entered the film industry in 1995. He maintains an ongoing daily photography practice, notably &#8222;Project Z&#8221; (started in 2001). His diverse cinematography credits include internationally acclaimed feature films such as Mardaani (2014), Sultan (2016), Bhoomi (2017), Lokatorka (2021), Where Would You Like to Go? (2023), Id\u017a pod pr\u0105d (2024), and Mardaani 3 (2026). His honours include Filmfare Award nominations for Mardaani and Golden Lion recognition at the Polish Film Festival for Id\u017a pod pr\u0105d. Alongside his camera work, \u017burawski has mentored at institutions like the Asian Film Academy and AMA Film Academy, and evaluates cinematic restoration for the Polish Film Institute.
