The Polish Institute in New Delhi and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi came together to celebrate National Reading 2026 with an evening dedicated to Adam Mickiewicz\u2019s masterpiece, Dziady (Forefathers\u2019 Eve)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening brought together literature, theatre and visual art. Selected readings from Dziady<\/em>, powerful fragments from Maja Kleczewska\u2019s theatrical adaptation, and an evocative art installation by Anna Krzemi\u0144ska invited guests into Mickiewicz\u2019s world of memory, love, exile, suffering and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebration continued with a special sweet surprise created exclusively for the Embassy, inspired by Polish culinary tradition and offering guests a taste of Poland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through literature, performance, art and shared experience, National Reading 2026 became a memorable evening dedicated to one of the most important works of Polish culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
