One of the Festival\u2019s goal is to promote women-filmmakers from all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The audience had a wonderful chance to see the most interesting recent movies, as well as some old titles, selected for the Retrospectives Section, among others the films directed by Joanna Kos-Krauze: excellent Polish director who has been working for many years with her husband Krzysztof Krauze who passed away in 2014<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">. Joanna Kos-Krauze had an opportunity to present her four films: My Nikifor (M\u00f3j Nikifor), Saviour\u2019s Square (Plac Zbawiciela), Papusha (Papusza) and Birds are Singing in Kingali (Ptaki \u015bpiewaj\u0105 w Kigali) and all of them impressed the local audience. What is more, the Polish director was Jury Chairman for the Asian Competition Section. <br \/>The organization of her retrospective was possible thanks to the collaboration of the Festival with IKH Pictures Promotion and Polish Institute New Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka International Film Festival was held between 11 and 19 of January.
